Having to make the decision to euthanize a pet is very difficult, we understand this and want to help you through this process. If you feel that your pet may be at this stage of life, please contact Island Holistic Pet for a euthanasia consultation with Dr. Duffner.

This will help you to know if euthanasia is the best and kindest decision for your pet. If euthanasia is the best choice for your pet, Dr. Duffner will walk you through the process so that you know what to expect.

For the comfort and privacy of you and your pet, we come to your home to perform the euthanasia. This allows a fear-free experience for your beloved animal family member. At this stage in life, it may be difficult or scary for your pet to ride in the car or to walk into a veterinary hospital. This will also allow you, the pet parent, the privacy and comfort of your home as well.

Dr. Duffner will also make arrangements for cremation services for your pet. You will be able to select how to honor your pet’s memory.

For more information about end of life care and preparing for the loss of your pet, please click here to visit the Honoring the Bond website through the Ohio State University.

Please note, we reserve the right to deny any euthanasia procedure after examination of the pet and consultation with the owner. We do not perform emergency or convenience euthanasias.
